SEATTLE — One of the biggest challenges many homeowners and businesses face when dealing with plumbing issues is how to identify whether a plumber is certified and qualified to do the job.

Ed Holmes, Vice Chairman of the Washington State Plumber Advisory Board, and Jed Scheuermann, from the International Association of Mechanical and Plumbing Officials (IAPMO), shared more about the certification process, as well as how plumbers help in testing a wide range of products to ensure quality and sturdiness, They also spotlighted how homeowners and businesses can identify products that carry UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) certifications.
