Playboy gets Puyallup lingerie football player out of uniform

Chelsie Jorgensen is part of an 8-page pictorial in the February issue of Playboy that hits newsstands Friday.

SEATTLE Chelsie Jorgensen of Puyallup, your Lingerie Football League team the Seattle Mist just finished its season. What are you going to do next?

Pose for Playboy.

The ladies that toss the pigskin in next-to-nothing have stripped off what little uniforms they had for an eight-page pictorial in the February issue, which hits newsstands Friday.

I am super excited!! writes Jorgensen, 21, on her Facebook page. The 5-foot, 5-inch, 117-pounder plays both sides of the ball as center and safety for the Seattle Mist.

The LFL started in 2004 and has expanded to ten teams, including the Mist which plays its home games at Kent s ShoWare Center. Their games are broadcast on MTV2.

While the ladies know sex appeal is their big draw, they want you to remember this is still tackle football.

People think it s just a bunch of prissy girls playing two-hand touch, says Vanessa Sanchez of the San Diego Seduction, in a press release. We like to look hot, but we like to hit people, too.

It s real athletes playing real football. It s not just inexperienced models running around pretending to tackle one another, says Ashley Helmstetter of the Miami Caliente.

The Mist finished its regular season 0-3. Two of those losses were by less than a touchdown. Their final game in Dallas has been canceled. Ironically, it was scheduled for Friday the day Chelsie arrives in Playboy.

The Lingerie Bowl will be played live on pay-per-view, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m. PST right around halftime of the Super Bowl.
