SEATTLE — Located in the north end of Seattle's University District, the Kraken Bar & Lounge is a punk-rock themed hangout that welcomes everyone who walks through their doors.
"I think we're unique because we do have that punk-rock aspect to it," said Skyler Jackson, an employee. "A lot of people look at the outside and think it may not be for them, but the second you come in and meet the customers and talk to the bartenders and see the good vibes we have going on...it's really a place for everybody."
"I actually come here from the Queen Anne area, but it's totally worth it because everybody's a lot of fun," said Nicole Zzajkowski, a regular at the Kraken.
The bar is equal parts nautical decor and punk rock, and features live punk rock shows as well as arcade games and even a pinball machine.
They also have a daily happy hour from 4 to 7.
