The eastbound lanes of State Route 520, including the bridge, reopened early after being closed so crews could replace more than 1,700 lights.

Eastbound 520 was closed between Montlake Boulevard in Seattle and 92nd Avenue NE on the Eastside.

The lanes closed Friday at 11 p.m. and were expected to reopen Monday by 5 a.m. Crews finished the work early and were able to reopen the eastbound lanes Saturday evening.

WSDOT closed the westbound lanes three weeks ago to replace light bulbs under the SR 520 lids.
