Everything you need to know about Seattle Restaurant Week 2023

Running from Oct. 22 to Nov. 4, here's a comprehensive guide to the biannual Seattle tradition.

SEATTLE — Seattle Restaurant Week (SRW) is returning this month, organized by the nonprofit Seattle Good Business Network. Here's everything you need to know about the two-week event.

What is Seattle Restaurant Week?

Restaurants, bars, cafes, food trucks and pop-ups participate in SRW to offer curated lunch and dinner menus for a fixed price of $20, $35, $50, and $65. Dining options range from three-course meals to cocktails and bites specials. Promotions include dine-in, ready-to-heat meals, delivery, and take-out.

According to SRW, more than 400 restaurants have participated in the event since 2020. The promotion is part of the Seattle Good Business Network program called the Good Food Economy. The goal is to strengthen the local economy and support Seattle's culinary community.

When is Seattle Restaurant Week?

The event runs twice every year during spring and fall. This autumn, it will run from Oct. 22 to Nov. 4.

Which restaurants are participating?

Two hundred and eleven locations across the greater Seattle area will be participating. You can view a full list on the interactive map below that is on the Seattle Restaurant Week website, as well as filter by price and meal type.

Restaurants include Aburiya Bento House, which reopened on Sept. 12 after co-owner Eina Kwon passed away; she was shot and killed near the Belltown business when she was eight months pregnant in June.

The restaurant will have a three-course dinner menu for $65 and lunch for $35.

Other familiar names on the list include the fusion sushi restaurant Japonessa, Crawfish King in the International District and Ballard Pizza Co.

Seattle Restaurant Week is not only limited to the city limits but includes places like Feast in Kirkland and Theary Cambodian Foods in Tukwila.

What's new this year during Seattle Restaurant Week?

Seattle Restaurant Week is partnering with Seattle Restored, which uses empty storefronts to install art, pop-up shops and events as a part of the Downtown Activation Plan

They are creating a digital passport, where community members can check in at participating restaurants, pop-up shops and art installations to win unique gifts. To sign up, fill out an information sheet on the website and get sent an activation link the week of Oct. 16 via email or text.
