SEATTLE — Last week Starbucks announced it would be closing up to 400 stores in the U-S and Canada over the next 18 months.
At the same time, they're also shifting some North American stores away from the cafe model to a pick-up only and to-go model, in response to changing consumer behavior due to COVID-19.
John Kelly, Vice President of Public Affairs and Social Impact for Starbucks talked about what they learned after first re-opening stores in china.
