Elizabeth Svoboda's new book teaches kids how to be their own hero

The author discusses how she got interested in heroism and how this book can help kids rise up against bullying.

SEATTLE — Elizabeth Svoboda is a dynamic writer, presenter and speaker who has always been interested in questions of moral motivation and psychology. Her first book, "What Makes a Hero?" discusses the science behind selflessness in humans. Her newest read, "The Life Heroic: How to Unleash Your Most Amazing Self" is geared towards kids and helps them discover how they can lead confident and heroic lives.
