Washington wine's biggest party takes in Woodinville this weekend

Northwest wine makers and wine drinkers gather for good causes at Auction of Washington Wines

WOODINVILLE, Washington — The Auction of Washington Wines has been around for 31 years and has raised more than 46 million dollars since it started in 1988. And after this weekend's three-day celebration of Washington wines, that dollar amount will certainly grow.

From  August 15 through 17th events range from the causal and open-air Winemaker Picnic and Barrel Auction to the Gala, with sold-out winemaker dinners in between. All of the events raise money for Seattle Children's, as well as Washington State University's Viticulture and Enology Program

Michael King hosted Evening's wine special from the Winemaker Picnic and Barrel Auction, where Washington winemakers brought out their best for tasting, and well-known chefs like Tom Douglas and Lisa Nakamura served specialties on the lawn of Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery.  Auction of Washington Wines is a yearly event that takes place every August - which is, of course, Washington Wine Month.

He also went LIVE on Facebook at the 2019 Auction of Washington Wines Barrel Auction and Picnic. Check it out below!
