Emma grew up in Seattle and began performing in community theater at age six. She is a trained ballerina who has studied the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Joffrey Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre School and more.

SEATTLE, WA -- On the NBC show "Aquarius", Seattle ballerina turned Hollywood actress Emma Dumont plays a teenage girl who stumbles into the world of one of the most notorious criminals in U.S. history, Charles Manson. It's a far cry from her previous role as a dance academy student on the ABC Family channel show "Bunheads". Sex, drugs, violence... "Every day is a new adventure", she says.
