All aboard the Hogwarts Express!

Experience the wizarding world at "Harry Potter: Magic at Play" in Bellevue. #k5evening

BELLEVUE, Wash. — Calling all muggles! You can now experience the wizarding world of Harry Potter in the Northwest. "Harry Potter: Magic at Play" is an interactive experience at The Shops at The Bravern in Bellevue.

The journey begins at Harry's home on 4 Privet Drive. You can take a look inside his bedroom in the cupboard under the stairs and climb around the house.

Then you continue on to Hogwarts where you can master spells in charms class like Wingardium Leviosa, recapture escaped Cornish Pixies in Defense Against the Dark, and pick out ingredients for a potion.

"We brought to life something that's really inspired by the franchise and so you see a lot of things you'd expect," said Stacy Moscatelli the CEO of Original X Productions.

There's a few things that fans have never seen before, too. For example, "Magic at Play" has a scene that's never been recreated at any other Harry Potter exhibit. Visitors can actually take the boat ride to Hogwarts just like Harry, Ron and Hermione did in their first year at school.

Another interactive experience is the is the Quidditch training area. You can test your skills as a seeker or compete against your friends as you try and score the most points tossing the Quaffle through goal hoops.

"We wanted to create something that was fun for families and kids, but also for fans of all ages because we know Harry Potter expands multigenerations," said Moscatelli. "We also wanted to build something that allowed parents who grew up with the franchise an opportunity to introduce their kids to the franchise in a way that felt fun and accessible."

There are also endless photo opportunities. You can capture yourself flying a broom, sitting under the Sorting Hat and discovering your patronus just before taking a harrowing journey into the Forbidden Forest.

"Harry Potter: Magic at Play" runs through May 12, 2024. Tickets are available online and start at $38.50 for adults and $23.50 for kids nine and under. You can still shop in the gift shop and grab a glass of Butterbeer, if you don't have a ticket.
