FULL ELECTION RESULTS

Former Washington State GOP Chairman Susan Hutchison has established herself as the Republican front-runner. Hutchison stepped down as chair earlier this year but didn’t file her candidacy for U.S. Senate until just before the deadline in May.

Hutchison said the Seattle City Council’s vote on the now repealed head tax was the tipping point.

Of the 28 original challengers, there were five Democrats, 13 Republicans, five Independents, and six listed as other parties.

However, only nine candidates have raised funds in the campaign, according to the Federal Election Commission. Cantwell has raised nearly $7.5 million, and Hutchison raised more than $500,000.
