A home in Lyman crashed into the water Wednesday months after the property was first threatened by Skagit River erosion.

The video, captured by Deanna Estes, shows most of the home topple into the water, leaving a remnant of the structure behind on a cliff.

The Taxdahl family, which own the home that fell, evacuated in November when their property began eroding into the river.

Property owners say every winter the Skagit River erodes more land, but at one point in November 2017 severe flooding eroded 10 feet of land per hour, and a neighboring structure to this home fell into the river.

Homeowners have been asking for federal or state assistance but still have not gotten any. A property appraiser is expected to come Tuesday.
