'Women Build' May 4 Seattle event: 'Every child, person and family deserves a safe and stable home'

Habitat for Humanity's mission of Women Build is to engage women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing.

SEATTLE — Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County Women Build is set to host a Women of Impact Build day on Saturday, May 4.

The community is invited to join the collaborative effort to bring women together from all walks of life to address the affordable housing crisis facing women and children in our region. 

According to Habitat for Humanity - the mission of Women Build is to engage more women in the effort to provide safe and decent homes for families in need of affordable housing. 

No experience with tools or construction is needed. Habitat staff and its AmeriCorps team will be there to lead and guide volunteers
