One of the biggest stars of the Winter Olympics is trying to help a dog in Redmond get adopted.

Someone tweeted to Adam Rippon that Motley Zoo Animal Rescue names their animals after musicians “and now amazing skaters.” The dog’s name? You guessed it, Adam Rippon.

“Omg Let’s help Adam Rippon find a home!,” the Olympian tweeted with several crying emojis.

The rescue group says the pup is 80 percent blind and was flown to the states from Korea for a better future.

Adam Rippon – the dog – walks with a limp from previous fractures in his leg. The rescue group said on Instagram he was not given medical treatment as a puppy and will need surgery to correct his radical bone.

If you would like to help, Motley Zoo Animal Rescue is located at 16715 Cleveland Street in Redmond.
