One person injured in Bellevue house fire

Paramedics administered CPR and rushed the man to Harborview Medical Center, according to fire officials.

BELLEVUE, Wash. — A man was rushed to the hospital Saturday morning after his home caught fire in Bellevue. 

Firefighters responded to the fire at 14000 Bel-Red Road where they saw flames shooting through the roof of the multi-family structure. 

The fire appeared to be in the attic and firefighters had to pull back the ceilings to get water on the fire. 

The flames were eventually knocked down and firefighters discovered a man inside. Paramedics administered CPR and rushed the man to Harborview Medical Center, according to fire officials. 

The man's condition is unknown at this time. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross was called in to help two families that are now displaced because of the fire.
