Air quality 'good' again around Puget Sound

The air quality in Western Washington returned to normal Friday morning after onshore winds pushed wildfire smoke out of the area.

Data from the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency showed much of King, Kitsap, Pierce, and Snohomish counties with reduced air quality throughout the day

KING 5 Meteorologist Rich Marriott says the air quality began slipping Wednesday as wildfire smoke drifted over the Cascades and west from the Olympics.

The smoke cleared out as onshore winds kicked in.
