Set springtime home and garden goals with Tacoma's January event

The Tacoma Home and Garden show kicks off on Thursday, Jan. 25, with free admission on opening day.

TACOMA, Wash. — The Tacoma Home and Garden Show will run from Jan. 25 through Jan. 28 and will be free to attend the show on opening day. Full details and coupon admission information are below.

While you might not feel in the home and garden project mode because it's winter - event organizers and guest speakers say it's the best time to set goals and explore.

"Now you can kind of breathe and plan," said Sue Goetz, CPH ecoPRO. "What do I want out of my garden this year?"

Goetz, a garden designer, speaker, and writer tells KING 5 you can attend a show like next week's event in Tacoma to get inspired and start your springtime planning.

The show will offer several exhibitors, classes and presentations.

Goetz will be speaking over the course of the multi-day event and offering an "herb talk" and garden design class to turn your outdoor space into a pollinator's heaven. She is the author of Complete Container Herb Gardening.
