Gluten-Free Avocado fries:

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 2 large Hass Avocados, sliced into strips
  • 3/4 cups of Gluten Free Panko
  • 1 tbsp of Ancho Chile Powder
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tsp of lime juice
  • Avocado Oil Spray

Directions:

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 390 degrees.
  • In one bowl, mix together the egg and the lime juice
  • In another bowl mix together the Gluten Free Panko and the Ancho Chile Powder
  • Take one slice of avocado, dip into the egg mixture, making sure to evenly coat all sides of the avocado strip.
  • Once coated dip the avocado strip into the Gluten Free Panko mixture, making sure to coat all sides evenly
  • Place them on a separate plate and repeat this process until all the strips are coated
  • Use the Avocado Oil spray to evenly coat both sides of the avocado and place them into the air fryer basket. You might have to do a couple of batches because you don't want to overcrowd the fries as they will stick together
  • Cook in the air fryer at 390 degrees for 4 minutes, then flip the avocado fries over and cook for an additional 4 minutes
  • Once they are all finished cooking, grab a dipping sauce and enjoy!
