TV ad becomes movie "Uncle Drew"

NBA stars Nate Robinson and Shaqille O'Neal play main roles in the new movie.
Seattle's Nate Robinson stars as "Boots."

We've seen NBA stars like Kyrie Irving, Nate Robinson and Shaqille O'Neal on the court. But now they appear on the silver screen in the upcoming movie "Uncle Drew."

"After the first week, It really got comfortable for me. It became easy to go into that character. At first it was extremely hard, not even gonna lie to you. My voice, my actions, just my body placement, my emotions, it was tough," Kyrie says.

Actors Lil Rel Howery and Nick Kroll weren't sure it was gonna work.

"My first fear was, I hope I don't have to do too much to carry this movie. But by surprise, these dudes were just really good man. Chris Webber is so funny...really owned his character. Kyrie's amazing. I like the Shaq and Kyrie moment. They did a really good job with that," Howery says.

"Uncle Drew" hits theaters Friday. Travel and accommodations provided by Lionsgate.
