Head to Pioneer Square and you'll find Dead Line, a restaurant with historical significance.
Seattle's Yesler Way used to be known as "The Dead Line." It separated the privileged north side of the city from the poor south side. And that plays into Dead Line's mission: an elegant place, that still maintains authenticity and respect for Pioneer Square.
The South American inspired menu focuses on local, sustainable products.
What we tried:
- Papas Al Chile - a spicy, crispy potato dish topped with lime crema.
- Roasted Squash - roasted slices of squash topped with cilantro and caramelized apples.
- Chipotle Shrimp - On an herb salad with chipotle cream.
- The Royale with Cheese - A burger with charred lemon aoili and cojita cheese.
