False Hemlock checks in live from Seattle's Northwest Folklife Festival

The four-day music, arts and cultural festival at Seattle Center runs through Monday, May 27.

SEATTLE — The 53rd Northwest Folklife Festival is underway in downtown Seattle. The four-day festival started Friday, May 24, and will run through Monday, May 27.

The 2024 cultural focus is Meraki. According to the festival, Meraki marks the 3rd chapter of our five-year cultural focus storyline. Meraki derives from the Greek language and means doing something with passion, soul, and love. 

There are several art, music, dance, and other performances, representing various cultures.

Several local groups will perform as well.

Among the live performers is False Hemlock - a band that will be playing at 8:30 p.m. at the Fountain Lawn Stage.
