Know before you go: Emerald City Comic Con

The Emerald City Comic Con runs from Thursday, Feb. 29 through Sunday, March 3 at the Seattle Convention Center and features a star-studded guest list.

SEATTLE — The 2024 Emerald City Comic Con kicks off Thursday with a star-studded lineup. Here's what you should know before you go.

The Emerald City Comic Con runs from Thursday, Feb. 29 through Sunday, March 3 at the Seattle Convention Center. All VIP tickets, four-day passes and Saturday are completely sold out. Single-day tickets for Thursday ($56), Friday and Sunday ($77) are still available.

Some of the guests visitors can expect to see at panels or purchase photo ops and autographs include Chris Evans, Christopher Lloyd, Billie Dee Williams, Elijah Wood, Sean Astin, Ashley Johnson, Christina Ricci and many more. For a full list of guests, visit emeraldcitycomiccon.com.

General show

The general show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. 

Emerald City Comic Con exhibition hall will feature booths from Anime/Manga to trading cards to video games and everything in between.

Artist Alley is the spot where visitors can get up close and personal with artists and creators from across the world. Visitors can also buy unique commissions and prints or just watch artists create.

Panels

Panels will run 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Panels span all things pop culture from a DC meetup, photo ops with guests, tips on leveling up your cosplay, an adult lightsaber choreography class and much more. For a full list of panels and screenings, visit emeraldcitycomiccon.com.

After dark

After dark panels and events will run 8 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the official after-party will kick off with Tom Kenny and the Hi-Seas, a 12-piece party band. The show is for all ages and requires a Friday or four-day ticket to attend.

On Saturday, Emerald City Comic Con Prom Under the Stars will kick off at 9 p.m. The prom is 18+ and Saturday or four-day tickets are required.

Other after dark events include drag queen bingo, cosplay karaoke and more.

Gaming zone

Gaming zone hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. It is located on level 3 of the Summit building.

The gaming zone is the opportunity for visitors to explore arcade, tabletop, roleplay, and board games, meet with indie developers and more.

Parking

There are three parking garages available during the weekend, the Arch and Summit at the Seattle Convention Center and Freeway Park. For more information about parking, visit the convention center website
