US 2 near Leavenworth reopens after mudslide

The mudslide near milepost 102 east of Leavenworth was blocking the eastbound lane.

LEAVENWORTH, Wash. — US 2 just east of Leavenworth has reopened after being temporarily closed Monday due to a mudslide, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The mudslide was at least partially blocking the eastbound lane.

SR 2 near milepost 102, just east of Leavenworth, a mudslide occurred striking the DOT guardrail and is partially blocking the eastbound lane of travel. Expect the roadway to be shut down soon to remove debris. Updates to follow.
