On January 31st, skywatchers in Alaska, the Hawaiian islands, and western North America will have a prime view of a phenomenon that hasn't occurred in 150 years.

This phenomenon is called a "super blue blood moon", and it occurs when a blood moon, super moon, and lunar eclipse all coincide. Greg Scheiderer, a member of the Seattle Astronomical Society, talks about this extraordinary spectacle.
