Tobacco, police deadly force bills get early action in Olympia
The Washington State Legislature is not known for its swift action and members will be in Olympia for months negotiating a new budget. But two issues that have been debated here for years appear close to passing: raising the tobacco purchase age and making changes to the deadly force initiative voters passed last November.
