Late last year, KING 5 Investigators told the story of how our state failed a little girl, know simply by her initials M.D. She left the Pacific Northwest a healthy toddler and returned 5 months later blind, wheelchair bound, and unable to talk. Recently, Angela Poe Russell sat down with the man who is now tasked with helping improve how Washington state cares for vulnerable children. Ross Hunter shared the shortcomings, what is needed now and how you can play a role.
