Premature labor study

A new UW study is suggesting that racial discrimination and PTSD could play a role in premature labor in African-American women, which could lead to issues like low birth weight, developmental delays and health issues in their babies. Black women are almost twice as likely as white women to give birth early, regardless of socioeconomic factors.
