Wet snowflakes could be mixed with the rain in Western Washington this morning
North and Central Puget Sound could see wet snowflakes mixed with the rain this morning, but nothing should accumulate below 1,000 feet, according to forecasts from the University of Washington High-Resolution model.
The best chance of seeing the rain-snow mix will be in Whatcom and the northern Olympic Peninsula, as cold air pours in from the Fraser River Valley in British Columbia.
Showers will decrease this morning and we should see some afternoon clearing from the north.
The chance of a rain-snow mix will return on Sunday.
