The Cougars have reason to celebrate today. Pitcher Scotty Sunitsch threw a no-hitter against the Ducks in Eugene.
It's the 25th no-no in school history. But the first no-hitter in nine innings since 1976. Eric Wilkins was responsible for that one.
Sunitsch didn't allow a hit, struck out a career high nine batters, and only walked two. Last year, he was part a group of Cougar pitchers who no-hit Stephen F. Austin.
