KITSAP COUNTY, Wash. — Light snow is possible across the Kitsap Peninsula and areas around Hood Canal Monday morning.
Snow has been reported in some areas, including Port Orchard and Seabeck.
Though only light snow is expected, up to 1 inch of accumulation is possible, according to a Special Weather Statement by the National Weather Service.
Accumulation is expected mainly on non-paved surfaces, but some snow could accumulate on roads.
Precipitation is expected to taper off later this morning.
