Off and on showers expected across Puget Sound this week

The week ahead calls for off and on rain showers with clouds keeping the sun at bay until the weekend.

Last week's recording breaking temperatures will feel like a distant memory as clouds move into our area bringing off and on showers.

A storm will sit off the coast this week and it'll keep sending us clouds and showers at times. With that storm "wobbling" off the coast, we'll keep a somewhat active pattern so there is a chance of showers pretty much every day.

Scattered showers are expected around western Washington for the Tuesday morning commute. We’ll start to get some sunshine by Tuesday afternoon.

The rest of the week is expected to bring off and on showers.

Highs will trend near normal or just a few degrees above as we top out in the upper 50s to lower 60s across Western Washington.

The system is expected to pull out for mostly sunny skies on Friday and Saturday before showers return again on Sunday.
