TUKWILA, Wash. — All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 at the I-405 interchange near Tukwila reopened late Sunday night after a fatal crash.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson said the crash involved a pickup truck and a semi. The crash was first reported just before 7 p.m.
Traffic from northbound I-5 was diverted to I-405. All lanes of southbound I-405 to northbound I-5 were closed for several hours before reopening around 11 p.m.
The cause of the crash is currently unknown.
