Northbound State Route 529 is back open north of the Snohomish River in Everett after a pedestrian was hit and killed early Tuesday morning.
Everett Police Sgt. Mary Jane Hacker says police received a call for a person down in the roadway just before 3 a.m. Sgt. Hacker says the man who was hit was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle stayed on scene and was arrested for DUI.
