The Seattle Seahawks are becoming well known for their recent touchdown celebrations.

“Ranking them? I would say the four heartbeats, the one we did last week, that was probably number one,” wide receiver Doug Baldwin said Wednesday. “I’d say drum line (was) number two and then Nolan Ryan (was) number three.”Here’s a look at the “four heartbeats” from last Sunday.

“You’ve heard of the five heartbeats, right? No? Okay,” Baldwin continued. “Really, I don’t even know. We’re on the sidelines talking through what we would do together and what would be good ideas and then we just throw it together so it’s really just us having fun as a unit.”

Baldwin says it usually takes a Friday practice to put the celebrations together.

“Probably it’s minutes, but obviously you guys know when we focus in on something, we get focused in on something so it doesn’t take us too long to get it down,” Baldwin explained.

He said the pressure to out-do the last celebration has become a factor.

“Unfortunately, it is now,” Baldwin said. “At first, it was all just about having fun, right? I think that’s going to be one of my pushing points for the second half of the season, is let’s not make this an expectation. Let’s just have fun with it like we were in the first half of the season. It has become an expectation.

“Now everybody’s asking us what’s coming up next, but first and foremost we’ve got to score so let’s take care of the football aspect of it first and then just have fun if it comes along.”

The Seahawks have just a few days left to put together a new celebration – one they hope to use this Sunday in Los Angeles against the Rams.
