Below are the Week 10 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Western Washington Spring Performers of the Week. This is the final installment of spring top performers. Mia Corbin, Tahoma softball. Corbin smacked a three-run walk-off home run in the ninth inning to lift the Bears over Federal Way 8-5 in the West Central District tournament. A leadoff hitter who is normally known for her speed, Corbin went 4-for-5 at the plate to help Tahoma earn a state tournament berth.

Dax Kringle, Skyline baseball. Kringle stood out in both the Spartans’ regional playoff games, leading Skyline to its first final four appearance since 2005. Kringle was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs against Timberline in the first round of state, and 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Cascade in quarterfinals.

Jason Fairhurst, Snohomish boys soccer. In state quarterfinals against Skyline, Fairhurst scored the equalizer in 77th minute, and the game-winner in a penalty kick shootout. The Panthers are looking for their third straight state title.

Carlin Reilly, Eastside Catholic girls lacrosse. The state tournament MVP, Reilly scored five goals with four draw controls and one caused turnover to beat Lake Sammamish 14-4 for the state championship. It’s Eastside’s first state title since 2010.

Tyson Penn, Bellevue track and field. Penn won the triple jump (44’ 10.75”) and long jump (23’ 7”) and tied for first in in high jump (6’ 6”) at the Sea-King District Championships. Penn’s long jump is now ranked top in the state.
