5 must-stop shops at University Village! | Local Lens Seattle

It’s no secret I love shopping - come with me on a trip to my favorite one-stop shop go-to for all things! Sponsored by University Village

SEATTLE — It’s no secret I love shopping. I haven’t been able to shop IRL in some time (thanks, pandemic) so I was so pumped to check out some of the newer shops at Seattle’s University Village in person.

University Village is my favorite one-stop shop go-to for all things! It’s Seattle’s only outdoor lifestyle shopping center where you find a mix of locally-owned boutiques, signature fashion and home-furnishing retailers. PLUS it has some of the best restaurants for date night or if you just need a quick bite/sweet treat.

Today I am bringing you a fast five of some of my fav stores. I had really only seen these online, so I could not wait to actually pop in and try things on.

1. Parachute – Brought linen bedding and the European way of styling your bed to the U.S. Gorgeous color palettes that are now showing up in the kitchen, bathroom and soon your living room.

2. Away – They simply made suitcases better and more fashionable.

3. Everlane – Clean lines, modern cuts for men and women.

4. Allbirds – Made from sustainable materials like merino wool and eucalyptus, plus they’re allegedly crazy comfortable. The brand is also branching out into apparel.

5. Jenni Kayne A California lifestyle brand. From wardrobe essentials to all the things that make a house a home, they create effortless staples without sacrificing style or comfort.

Bonus: We also stopped, of course, for a bite to eat to refuel. Mr. West is my go-to stop. Look at the café menu and plan your next meal.
