AUSTIN, Tx. -- Dash cam footage captured a gravel truck plowing through a busy intersection near Austin, Texas on Friday.
Four people were injured in the crash late Friday morning. The accident happened after a truck driver failed to stop and crashed into several vehicles before going off an embankment.
Injured people were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Austin police said the intersection was closed around eight hours while crews cleaned up the crash area.
Records show Franco's Trucking vehicles have one crash on U.S. Department of Transportation record, which occurred in August 2015. USDOT also shows 20 violations from five inspections dating from December 2014 to October 2015.
