Shoplifting suspect turns herself in after hitting deputy near White Center

A shoplifting suspect turned herself in after striking a King County deputy with a vehicle. Her boyfriend is still a suspect in the case and remains at large.

A shoplifting suspect wanted for striking a deputy with a vehicle in White Center has turned herself in. The woman is being booked into King County Jail. 

The King County Sheriff's Office is still looking for her boyfriend who fled the scene with her. 

The incident happened Monday night after three suspects were observed stealing from a Safeway in White Center. When law enforcement arrived, the suspects were being chased by a loss prevention officer. 

The suspects got into a black 1996 Lexus LS 4-door sedan and the vehicle struck a King County deputy head-on. The deputy was transported to Harborview with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. 

Two suspects fled in the vehicle, but one woman was arrested at the scene. 

The King County Sheriff's Office was seeking the female driver for charges of assault and robbery in the first degree. 

KCSO is still looking for her boyfriend Davevion Irving. There is an active felony warrant and misdemeanor warrant for his arrest from previous crimes. 

The pair were said to be couch surfing, possibly in the Tacoma area.
