Take 5: 6-year-old with rare disease gets superhero sendoff in Maple Valley

A super sendoff for a super kid.
Superhero sendoff

Blake Robison is one tough 6-year-old. The Maple Valley kindergartner loves superheroes and Star Wars, but he's facing a real-life battle of his own.

Just before his 2nd birthday, Blake was diagnosed with Fanconi anemia, an inherited blood disease that can lead to bone marrow failure and cancer.

Blake needs a bone marrow transplant and will miss two months of school. But his classmates made sure Blake had a superhero's sendoff.

Kids in his school dressed in special shirts and some teachers even wore superhero costumes to give Blake a boost before his transplant.
