1. Support a 5 Hiver in the Swedish SummeRun & Walk

Five Hiver Lynn Fallows is an ovarian cancer survivor and she is looking for your donations to help her in the fight against Ovarian cancer.

A quote from Lynn’s fundraising page: “On July 19, 2015, I walked this event just 4 days after my final chemo infusion and, as I crossed the finish line surrounded by a team of 44 family members and friends, I put on my SURVIVOR t-shirt! What an emotional moment! It is my hope that on July 15, 2018, I will be able to do the same and hope that you too will join me.” You can also volunteer with the SummeRun & Walk on the day of with set up, water stations, etc.

2. Support BAM in one of the PNW’s most prestigious art festivals

3. Celebrate Nordic tradition at Viking Days

Learn about and help preserve Seattle’s rich Scandinavian heritage at Viking Days! They need assistance in visitor services, food service, the run like a Viking 5K and in general event support. Volunteers will get to enjoy the atmosphere, delicious food, and music.

4. Help refugees find their place in the Seattle community through sport

5. Pick blueberries for a cause!

Get the kids and head out to the berry field! The SnoValley Tilth needs help picking blueberries. Spend some time in the sun and pick some berries! The farm owners donate the berries to the Tilth for their harvest celebration each year. The blueberries are baked into delicious desserts by home bakers for the harvest celebration. They encourage families and small children attending!
