1 person, 2 dogs rescued from steep Tacoma hillside

A technical rescue was underway in Tacoma for one person and two dogs stuck on a steep hillside near the Dalco Passage lookout area of Point Defiance Park.

TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma firefighters rescued one person and two dogs stuck on a steep hillside at Point Defiance Park

A Technical Rescue team set up a rope system for the descent. Once it's secure, rescuers will be lowered down to the person and dogs. 

This happened near the Dalco Passage lookout area of Point Defiance Park. 

No word how long they've been stuck on the hillside or how they got stuck.

There are no reports of injuries to the person or the dogs.
