Washington State Patrol says six people were injured in a roll-over crash near the Tiger Mountain summit that shut down State Route 18 Friday morning.

State Route 18 was closed for at least an hour as troopers investigated.

Westbound lanes reopened around 7:40 a.m.

Eastbound lanes opened around 9:30 a.m.

According to State Patrol, the SUV was traveling east approaching Tiger Mountain when the driver lost control and drove into a ditch. The vehicle rolled across all lanes, finally coming to a rest on the eastbound left shoulder facing the wrong way.

The female driver and male passenger were both ejected from the vehicle. One of four children, who was in a car seat, was ejected.

All six people were sent to Harborview Medical Center. The male passenger is in critical condition. The driver has major injuries.

According to State Patrol, the driver had an "obvious odor of intoxicants," but an evaluation could not be complete at the scene.
