For the second year in a row, Seattle topped Amazon's list of 20 Most Well-Read Cities list.

The ranking is determined by a compilation of sales data from cities with more than 500,000 residents. It includes purchases of all books, magazines and newspapers in both Kindle and print format from April 2015 to April 2016.

Portland, Ore., came in second, while Washington, D.C., placed third. San Francisco followed in fourth place.

And it seems purging and cleaning up was high on readers' priority list. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing sas the most sold print title in Seattle, as well as San Francisco, Tuscon, Ariz, and Albuquerque, NM.
