Ready, set, splash into summer at one of Seattle's spray parks or wading pools.

Nine public splash parks open on Memorial Day weekend through September 2. The parks are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., unless thunder or lightning is detected in the area.

The City of Seattle's wading pools are weather-dependent and won't open until at least June 22. The parks department opens wading pools on sunny days that reach 70 degrees or above.
