Eythan is one of nearly 1,400 kids available for adoption in Washington.
The 12-year-old is quiet but not shy. He has many interests, including swimming, fishing, rock hunting, video games and football. He's also passionate about animals. When he grows up, he wants to be a veterinarian.
Counselors say Eythan would do best as an only child or with an older sibling. Most importantly, they say he needs a family that can provide guidance, patience and love.
