NOAA forecasters say a steady stream of solar particles are speeding past Earth this week, creating amazing displays of the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.
According to NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center, the show started on Tuesday and will continue through Friday, September 30, and possibly through the weekend.
