Microsoft is teaming up with insurer Premera Blue Cross and healthcare provider Eastside Health Network to create a new health plan for its Seattle area employees.

The new program, called the Health Connect Plan, is aimed at better integrating healthcare services with insurance coverage to give employees a better customer experience. The plan also includes access to a dedicated service center and the Health Connect Navigator, which offers personalized assistance for common needs.

“With more than 100,000 employees and dependents in the Puget Sound region, we have a unique opportunity to shape the health care landscape in meaningful ways through the plans we offer to our employees and in our partnerships with the health care community,” Kristen Roby Dimlow, Microsoft’s corporate vice president of total rewards and performance, said in a press release. “We believe that this new approach of connecting providers, patients, and resources is the next step in improving the health care experience for our employees.”
