Five kids were rescued from waters near Seattle's Discovery Park Friday afternoon.
Four boys and one girl were taken to a nearby hospital, according to Seattle Fire. One kid was in critical condition; a second was in serious condition.
Rescue crews responded to the park for help around 3:15 p.m.
Seattle Fire said the kids were caught swimming too far off the beach. The kids are between 10 and 11 years old.
All five kids were part of a day-camp, swimming with dozens of other kids off the beach.
A bystander boat pulled two of the kids out of the water and brought them to shore.
