Final preparations are underway for T-Mobile's New Years at the Needle.

On Saturday morning, Pyro Spectacular crews installed fireworks on the Space Needle's skyline roof, which is at the 100-foot level of the iconic Seattle landmark.

The crews are basically working around the renovations at the Needle. Fireworks will not be fired from the halo, which has a construction tarp around it.

"We're all working together," said one of the crew members. "We're trying to make this happen for the city. It's going well. We had a little bit of a wind issue last night. It kept us off the roofs, but this morning it was much much better and we have a good crew working on the roofs today."

About 100 firing locations were installed on the Space Needle. The show will last 10 minutes.
