At this moment, about a million people in the US are living with Parkinson's Disease, nearly seven million worldwide. There's no cure for the degenerative illness, which attacks the central nervous system, but exercise is crucial to help people maintain their mobility and balance.

Tricia Arcaro Turton, from Arcaro Boxing Gym in Seattle, shared a weekly workout they offer for Parkinson's patients. Two participants, Carl Carter-Swendler and Peter Hussey, shared how the workout is helping them.

KO Parkinson's takes place Thursdays at 4:00pm and Saturdays at 11:00am at Arcaro Boxing Gym (1208 E Jefferson St, Seattle, WA 98122). CLICK HERE for more information.
